Parish council meetings take place on first Monday of the month at 8pm, except when that falls on a bank holiday when it is deferred to the following Monday.  There is normally no meeting in August.

Members of the public and press are most welcome to attend the meetings and are given an opportunity to ask questions and express opinions at the main Council meetings during the 15 minutes public participation session.

As the law states that the council cannot lawfully decide matters not included on the agenda, please submit questions in writing to the clerk ([email protected] ) a minimum of 7 days prior to the meeting for inclusion, where appropriate, on the agenda.

The Annual Parish Meeting is a meeting of the parish electors that takes place between 1 March and 1 June to celebrate local activities and debate current issues in the community. The Chair of the Parish Council calls the meeting, and if present will chair it.

The Annual General Meeting of the Parish Council takes place in May. This is where the chairman and vice-chairman are elected.
